Ana Martinez graduated with honors from Texas Woman’s University in 2010 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Health Sciences. While working at UT Southwestern as a health educator, Ana realized the growing need for health education in the healthcare setting for the Hispanic community. She then decided to pursue nursing and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Texas Woman’s University.

Ana worked as a school nurse for the past 8 years and wanted to continue to advance in her professional and personal growth as an advocate for pediatric patients and their families. In 2020 she graduated with her Master’s in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She is certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner and member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.

Ana is married with two children and enjoys shopping, reading, movie nights on the couch, and working in ministry at her church.
